CAREERS: SYSTEMS (BASIS) ADMINISTRATION
Performs SAP BASIS administration for SAP tailoring, bolt-ons, change management, scheduling, integration and security.
- Research OSS notes and keeps SAP patches current.
- Installs / upgrades to new releases of SAP as appropriate. Coordinates developer and configuration testing.
- Acts as Level 3 technical support for SAP.
- Coaches and mentors more junior technical staff. High degree of autonomy, once requirements agreed upon across the SAP Technical Team.

Skills and Abilities
Requires experience in SAP products (ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, Portal EP 7.0, SCM 5.0, CRM 5.0, PI 7.0, Solution Manager 4.0 and Security).
Knowledge of Windows,HPUX, LINUX, AIX (UNIX), networking, and Oracle/DB2 and MAXDB database platforms. Requires ability to determine root cause analysis within the SAP arena, and provide on call support. |
